Day One:
We will depart from Ciudad Guyana at 09:00 and fly for approximately 1.5 hours. Our destination is the Auyan Tepui (Table Mountains). This is the location of Angel Falls and at almost a kilometer in height is the highest in the world. We will fly around Angel Falls where you can observe and take some aerial photos of the area. Then we head for Canaima National Park where we will land.
Day Two:
After an early breakfast, we will travel by boat on the Rio Carrao to our Angel Falls base, then we trek through the jungle. On this one hour and fifteen minute trek the thriving tropical forest will enthuse you with its greenery and diversity of plant life, and your ears and eyes will illuminate your senses with the call of its diverse animal and bird species.
Arriving at Angel Falls, you will have time to take a break. You can rest on the rocks warmed by the sun at the base of the falls, shoot some pictures of the raging waterfall, and take a dip in the pool created by the cascading water
In the evening, we will have dinner at our camp in Angel Falls and sleep in hammocks.
Day Three:
Following breakfast, we depart early by boat to Canaima Camp, if we have time along the journey we will visit the Pozo de La Felicidad and if favored, take a dip in its refreshing waters. When we arrive at Canaima camp you will collect your luggage and board a plane back to Ciudad Guyana.
